The weekend edit #9

Another wintery week has passed us by and London finally got a bit of snow! Was anyone else completely disappointed to wake up to a winter wonderland, for it then to have all disappeared by the time you got home? Despite the havoc it causes, a big part of me wanted to spend a day this weekend walking amongst a snow-filled park, followed by blankets and hot chocolates back home. But the BBC tells me it’s not meant to be!

So here’s this week’s (snow-free) weekend edit…

Satisfy your sweet tooth with a treat from Swedish bakery, Bageriet.

Drink one of these cocktails at home and dream of summer. With prosecco, vodka, blueberry jam and thyme, it sounds delicious and it looks super simple to make.

Eat at Hawker House, Street Feast’s latest street food pop up in a disused office block. Giulia’s pictures in this post will get your stomach rumbling instantly.

Dine at Spanish tapas restaurant Morito. I love tapas and I’ve wanted to eat out at Exmouth Market for a while so this looks like the perfect choice.

Book a table at Sky Pod, the new cocktail bar 150m above the River Thames at the top of the Walkie Talkie.

I chose this week’s snapshot from Instagram as a reminder to always try to get some fresh air at lunch. It’s amazing how refreshed you feel for the afternoon when you step away from the computer and get a bit of exercise! I’m lucky to work near Little Venice so I can stroll along the canal and stalk regency houses too.

Have a great weekend!!
