The weekend edit #8

Usually I’m glad to say January is done and dusted but I have to admit this year it just seems to have flown by and I’ve not really had time to feel its effects. That said I am really starting to crave spring now as the temperatures this week plummeted us into the depths of winter. Anyone else bored of wearing their winter coats and scarves at the moment?!

Lucky for us Londoners, whilst we wish for spring, there’s plenty to keep us entertained and to plan for the months ahead. So here’s this week’s weekend edit!

I picked this picture of The Painted Hall James and I stumbled across in Greenwich last weekend as it reminded me that there’s always new things to discover here, even if it’s been there for hundreds of years!

Drink at The Cocktail Trading Co one of the newest bars in London, opening a week or so ago. You’ll find it beneath Central & Co, round the corner from Oxford Circus. Get more information on Just Opened London here.

Eat at The Ivy Market Grill, the more affordable little sister of celeb hotspot The Ivy.

Play board games all day and night at the city’s first board game cafe and bar, Draughts. There’s around 500 board games to choose from so you’ll never get bored ( 😉 ).

Book tickets for Savage Beauty at the V&A, an exhibition celebrating the life and work of Alexander McQueen. It’s set to be the exhibition of the year with tickets selling fast and given that it’s one of my favourite museums I have high hopes.

Buy Stickyscapes London and embrace your childish side.

Hope you’re having a great weekend!
