The weekend edit #5

I don’t know about you but this week felt like a loooong week. I’m definitely starting to notice the darker mornings and evenings, the need to snuggle under the duvet longer to keep warm, and drink plenty of hot drinks throughout the day. With an icy blast due next week has winter arrived?? Either way, the weekend awaits where we can luxuriate in the warmth of our own homes and treat ourselves kindly.

I’m off to Canterbury and the seaside for a breath of fresh air but if you’re in the city and aren’t planning to hibernate this weekend, here are a few ideas!

Eat at the new Snaps & Rye in Notting Hill and dip into traditional Danish dishes.

Drink classy cocktails at Bassoon at The Corinthia.

Enjoy the view from one of the city’s most infamous icons by walking across the new glass walkway at Tower Bridge. At only £9 per adult it’s one of London’s most reasonably priced attractions.

Create your own gingerbread latte at home with this recipe.

Book tickets for mirrorcity at the Hayward Gallery and explore work and new commissions by key emerging and established artists working in the London today.
