Four ways to enjoy Easter in London

The best bank holiday weekend has arrived! Two lovely four day working weeks but more importantly a four day weekend! That’s four lie-ins, four opportunities to eat brunch, two weekends worth of my habitual coffee intake and of course plenty of time indulge in Easter treats! If you’re looking to get in to the Easter spirit London won’t disappoint.

Here are four of my favourite events and menus.

1. The Big Egg Hunt– Remember last year when hundreds of eggs were scattered around the city? Well they’ve returned to the streets of Covent Garden for Easter in aid of Action for Children. Unless you’re an expert on the area, the maze of short streets will make it quite a challenge. A great cause, Lindt prizes and some pretty art is good motivation for checking it out!

2. The Alternative Easter Egg Hunt at the Design Museum – A printed trail of riddles and clues to solve will take you on an Easter journey through the museum’s current exhibitions (including Designs of the Year 2013). Once you’ve made it round you’ll receive a mini egg from Rococo Chocolates. It’s just £1 per trail after the museum admission.

3. Creme Egg Mojitos at Jewel – Well someone had to make an Easter cocktail and it looks like Jewel have stepped up to the plate! You need a serious sweet tooth for this!

4. Cinnamon Soho’s savoury Easter egg-inspired menu – For those with a savoury taste, Cinnamon are offering a three course egg-themed menu for £30. Bangla Scotch Egg anyone?

Happy Easter everyone!! x
