I came across the Long White Cloud cafe whilst on my way to Columbia Road Flower market the other weekend. I’d actually been following their tweets for a while and it seemed they’d got a pretty satisfied following. I just wasn’t aware it was right in the direction of where I was heading until the word ‘COFFEE’ got my attention and I headed quickly towards the entrance to see what was on offer.
The handy thing about this cafe is that it’s a short walk from the Hoxton overground but a few minutes out of the main area of flower action. This means you can grab a drink and some food or sit down for a meal before getting in the thick of it.
I went for a cappuccino and banana bread, although it was a fairly short pitstop what I did get from my visit was a good caffeine injection and a sweet tooth filling at a decent price. It seemed to be ran by a group of people who wanted to provide you with something satisfying and tasty. I also noted that organic and fresh food was one of their selling points so you can bank on the good stuff when you make an order.
